Manuel Sanchez (Manny) is a New York–based brand identity designer focused on developing concept-driven visual systems that shape how contemporary brands communicate and are experienced. His work brings together typography, color, composition, and material thinking to create identities that function cohesively across packaging, campaigns, and digital environments.
He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications from the University of Arizona, where he developed a strong foundation in conceptual design and visual craft. This early emphasis on critical thinking and form continues to inform his approach to identity as both a strategic and expressive discipline.
With experience in collaborative agency and studio environments, Manny values idea-building through dialogue, critique, and iteration. He enjoys working alongside strategists and creative teams to interpret positioning and translate it into clear, flexible identity systems that extend across multiple brand touchpoints.
Alongside commissioned work, he maintains an ongoing independent practice exploring typography, image-making, and cultural narratives. These explorations investigate themes of memory, emotion, ritual, and contemporary visual culture, helping shape an evolving perspective on how identity design can carry meaning beyond function.
He is particularly interested in opportunities within collaborative studios focused on brand identity, packaging, and thoughtful creative development.
