Karie Titus Objects & Interiors is the personal portfolio platform of New York-based architectural designer Karie Titus. Developed as both a professional presentation tool and a foundation for future commissions, the identity needed to communicate clarity, refinement, and material sensitivity while supporting a wide range of project documentation — from conceptual sketches and construction imagery to finished interior photography and technical diagrams.
The visual system was built to reflect Karie’s architectural approach, balancing precision with warmth. Early identity exploration began with the development of mood boards that defined the project’s visual direction and established a clear imagery point of view. References centered on modernist restraint, tactile materiality, editorial composition, and process-driven storytelling. This direction informed the overall structure of the identity and guided how work would be documented, sequenced, and presented across platforms.
I designed the wordmark and typographic system to feel structured yet approachable, allowing the portfolio to function as both a professional archive and a contemporary design presence. A restrained color palette was introduced to support neutrality and longevity, ensuring that project imagery remained the focal point while still creating a cohesive visual language.
Beyond the identity, I developed the foundational digital framework for the portfolio, designing a responsive landing page and core content structure for desktop and mobile. The system was intended to accommodate multiple image formats — including hand sketches, renderings, construction photography, finished interiors, and diagrams — while maintaining visual consistency and narrative flow.
Through visual direction and art direction, the project established a unified point of view for photography, rendering presentation, and illustration usage. The resulting identity positioned Karie Titus Objects & Interiors as a refined, process-driven architectural practice, capable of communicating both conceptual thinking and built outcomes with clarity and intention.
