POWERTRIP

PowerTrip was a large-scale heavy metal music festival produced by Goldenvoice and held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Featuring legendary acts including Metallica, Iron Maiden, Guns N’ Roses, Tool, AC/DC, and Judas Priest, the event brought together multiple generations of fans through a shared culture of live performance and music heritage.

The project focused on developing a range of festival apparel graphics that could capture the intensity and visual language of heavy metal culture while remaining commercially viable for large-volume merchandise production. Working under tight timelines, the design process required rapid concept generation, stylistic clarity, and efficient production preparation to meet event deadlines.

I collaborated closely with the design team to develop multiple graphic directions, ultimately leading the illustration development and final design execution across selected apparel concepts. My role included translating the energy and legacy of the festival lineup into bold graphic compositions, as well as preparing production-ready artwork for garment application. The resulting designs contributed to a cohesive merchandise offering that reinforced the festival’s identity and fan experience.
